Frequently Asked Questions

What education and training support your practice?

I bring a unique blend of medical knowledge, coaching expertise, and deep somatic training to my practice. I hold a Doctorate in Pharmacy, an Executive Coaching Certification from UC Berkeley, a Wellness Counseling Certificate from Cornell University, and I’m also a Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and Certified in Somatic Parts Work, a somatic approach to Internal Family Systems (IFS). My approach integrates physiological, trauma-informed and somatic perspectives to support clarity, self-awareness, embodied resilience, inner well-being, and healing.

What does “somatic” mean?

Somatic simply means relating to the body.

Much of our experience exists beneath conscious thought. Stress, trauma, emotions, beliefs, relational patterns, and even intuition often live not only in the mind, but in the body as well.

A somatic approach invites us to slow down and listen to the body’s language through sensation, impulse, tension, breath, movement, and felt experience. Rather than analyzing our way toward change, we learn to include the wisdom of the body in the process.

Often, the body reveals things the mind alone cannot access, creating opportunities for deeper healing, integration, and self understanding.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

At this time, I offer sessions exclusively online through Google Meet. Virtual sessions allow us to work together from the comfort of your own space while still creating a meaningful, connected, and effective experience.

What are your session rates?

My rate is $150 per 50-minute session.

I also offer a complimentary 20 minute consultation call for those interested in learning more about the work, asking questions, and exploring whether working together feels like a good fit.
