Our bodies carry the stories of our survival and the keys to our liberation
Healing begins when we compassionately listen to the survival patterns shaped by trauma and reconnect with the wisdom, goodness, and wholeness that have always been within
You may be here because you’ve been carrying too much for too long. Perhaps you feel overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, and stuck in your life.
Maybe you’ve spent years in therapy, inner work, or personal growth, yet still struggle with clarity, self trust, connection to your body, or understanding what is actually true for you underneath the noise and conditioning.
In a world that often rewards overfunctioning, performance, and self abandonment, many people lose connection with the nuanced language of their own body. Healing is not about keeping up. It is about slowing down enough to listen.
Many of the people I work with are highly self aware, curious, insightful, and have often already spent years in therapy, personal growth, spiritual practice, or healing work, yet still feel disconnected from what is actually true for them underneath the mental analysis.
They may intellectually understand their patterns, yet continue to feel stuck in cycles of overwhelm, shutdown, hypervigilance, appeasing, perfectionism, numbness, or disconnection from their body, needs, boundaries, and deeper sense of self.
What we call anxiety, burnout, chronic overwhelm, numbness, “people pleasing”, perfectionism, or disconnection are often intelligent adaptations shaped by trauma, chronic stress, relational wounds, religious or spiritual abuse, or environments where it did not feel safe to trust one’s own instincts and embodied experience.
My work is grounded in Somatic Experiencing® and informed by applied neurobiology, contemplative practice, somatic parts work, and a biopsychosocial understanding of healing that recognizes the interconnectedness of body, mind, relationships, environment, and meaning making.
My background as a Doctor of Pharmacy gives me a deep understanding of physiology, while my training as a UC Berkeley Certified Coach, my Wellness Counseling Certificate from Cornell University, and my completed training as an approved Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner uniquely shape my approach to nervous system regulation, self trust, trauma resolution, and embodied transformation.
Together, we move slowly and attentively, helping the nervous system come out of survival patterns while restoring greater capacity for embodiment, vitality, self trust, connection, and felt sense.
Because healing is not just about feeling better.
It is about awakening aliveness, coming home to yourself, and learning to hear your own inner voice again.
